Our Mission
At Here and Heard, our mission is to provide culturally safe, trauma-informed, and person-centred counselling, social work, education, and advocacy for communities across Sydney and New South Wales. Rooted in the lived realities of Western Sydney, we honour the dignity, autonomy, and expertise each person brings to the room.
We walk alongside those often unheard, including the general community, culturally, lingusticaly and religiously diver people, the LGBTQIA+ communities, men who have sex with men who don’t identify as gay or bisexual, people living with cchronic illness, survivors of violence, and culturally and linguistically diverse individuals, offering support that is relational, responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practice.
Through deep listening, compassion, and critical reflection, we create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and empowered to meet their needs with what they have, and in their own time.

Here and Heard is headquartered in Marrickville (2204). We provide services in the Fairfield/Liverpool area. Online counselling is also offered. No drop-in service is available. The best way to connect with us is to call us.
Currently provides counselling througgh the NSW Victim Service scheme and 100% private (not bulk or rebateable) service and counselling NSW Victim Service scheme. We hope to have this option available to clients soon.
